In July 2024 I launched A Glittering as an extension of Nectar for Good. This one-of-a-kind blog will capture my reflections on many bright points of life.

This is a place to share my stories, super powers, tips & tricks and the reality of spirituality. A beautiful glittering of career, friendship, parenthood, community, and travel.

As a marketer, I know that if I want to get eyeballs and grow followers, then I should do audience and category research and find an own-able niche. I should focus on delivering clear and compelling content on a consistent basis. In fact, I should do this on LinkedIn. No. No, maybe I should create Stories and Reels on Instagram. I certainly shouldn’t mix personal and professional content - sacrelig!

I am tired of the shoulds — the should do, the should be, the should have.

I am a mom, a wife, a bestie, a friend, a daughter, a marketer, an executive, a volunteer, a neighbor, a creator, a woman, and a human.

I don’t have a simple story. I don’t have a business story and a personal story. I have my story.

So, this is not your typical blog.

I am inspired by the hummingbird.

A flock of hummingbirds is called a glittering.

I find this ironic because as a socially energized extrovert, I love to be with others; yet hummingbirds are solo creatures (and quite territorial!)

Glittering is also defined as “shining with many bright points of light.”
Definitely on-brand for me!

So, what should you expect from this blog?
Reflections on many bright points of life.

I’ll be shining the light on my unique, nuanced and lived experiences — spiritual, professional, and the day-to-day practical.

• Stories about what I read, how I felt, and when and why I took a giant leap from the corporate world to the meandering, cross-pollinating path of a hummingbird.

• Stories about serendipity and universe-sent, “pinch-me” moments.

• Stories about connection — of ideas, of people, of communities.

• Stories about “Earth Angels” and causes I care deeply about.

• Stories about family, raising kids, and travel.

• Stories of packing, and checklists, and masterful “momming” and organization!

• Stories about my favorite things - tech, beauty, apps, who knows!

Yes, it’s a mash-up.

A personal experiment. An evolution of Nectar for Good and what we bring to the world. To see how it feels. To see how it evolves. To see what sticks.
To live with bravery, vulnerability and authenticity.

Truthfully, I’ve never thought of myself as a writer. Yet thoughts have been brewing in my head about things I want to share, say, scream from the rooftops. Stories waiting to be told. Apparently this is where I’ll tell them.
